Business Ventures

Driven by curiosity and a desire to solve real-world problems, I started two entrepreneurial ventures: Har-Ness, aimed at improving everyday safety and convenience through wearable solutions for dogs, and FilmLounge, a platform designed to bring film enthusiasts together in a curated physical space. Though neither project moved beyond the proof-of-concept phase, both were invaluable learning experiences that sharpened my creative thinking, strategic planning, and product development skills—fueling my passion for innovation and pushing boundaries.

Har-Ness

Nov 2024 - Current

One of the ideas I was most passionate about exploring was Har-Ness—a concept born from a simple idea a friend from my hometown brought to me. To move forwards with this idea i started by observing dogs during their daily walks and even when taking my own families dog out. I noticed how most pet harnesses and collars were either uncomfortable for the dog, inconvenient for the owner, or both.

Har-Ness was my attempt to solve that: a smarter, more ergonomic dog harness that combined safety, comfort, and user-friendly design. I envisioned features like a first person view camera, easily seen light reflectors and modular add-ons for things like GPS tracking or treat storage. Although the idea didn’t evolve past the prototype stage, the process of researching materials, talking to dog owners, and developing early concepts taught me a great deal about product-market fit, design challenges, and the importance of user feedback. It also reinforced my commitment to building things that are both meaningful and practical.

FilmLounge

August, 2022 - January, 2024

FilmLounge was an idea sparked by the dramatic shift in entertainment consumption after COVID-19 and the rise of streaming platforms. Cinemas were struggling to bring audiences back, and cable companies were losing ground to on-demand content. I envisioned FilmLounge as a solution that could support both industries by creating a hybrid experience: limited-time, in-theater events for animated TV shows, classic movies tied to specific holidays, and even live sports screenings.

The goal was to generate excitement around communal viewing while offering cable providers a way to monetize exclusive content through curated, ticketed experiences. Although the concept didn’t move past the development stage, working on FilmLounge deepened my understanding of market timing, media partnerships, and how to reimagine traditional models for a digital-first world.
